04/29/10 - I-800 documents FedEx'd to USCIS
05/01/10 - LOA FedEx'd back to Madison
05/14/10 - received I-800 receipt notice dated 5/10 (they received package on 5/3)
05/24/10 - I-800 Provisional Approval forwarded to NVC
05/26/10 - Received I-800 Provisional Approval letter
06/01/10 - NVC Cable to Guangzhou (found out on 6/2)
06/07/10 - Received NVC letter in the mail
06/24/10 - Article 5 (found out on 6/28)
06/25/10 - Got our Visas
07/20/10 - TA (Travel Approval)
09/01/10 - CA (Consulate Appointment)

Adoption Lingo
Here are some of the abbreviations used in China adoptions:
CCAA - China Center of Adoption Affairs
DTC - Dossier to China
LID - Log In Date (when your dossier is logged into the CCAA system)
LOA - Letter of Acceptance (or LSC-Letter Seeking Confirmation) - this is the letter you receive once the CCAA has approved your dossier)
TA - Travel Approval - notice you receive when CCAA says you can travel
CCAA - China Center of Adoption Affairs
DTC - Dossier to China
LID - Log In Date (when your dossier is logged into the CCAA system)
LOA - Letter of Acceptance (or LSC-Letter Seeking Confirmation) - this is the letter you receive once the CCAA has approved your dossier)
